The *Sham Valley Trek*, also known as the “Baby Trek,” is one of the gentlest in Ladakh, but it is beautiful nonetheless. Suitable for first-timers, the tour shows you pretty village such as Likir and Hemis Shukpachan, monasteries, and apricot farms. The trek has easy trails, and thus can be done throughout the year but it is better to go between April and August. Ideal for those who want to go on short, scenic treks in the shutter of the Himalayas, the trail of *Sham Valley Trek* also gives an idea about the Ladakhi way of life.
